What we do:
At Connect Taiwan, our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Taiwan, by planting churches, supporting existing congregations, and mobilizing Taiwanese believers. Through intentional connection and outreach, we aim to cultivate relationships centered on the Gospel, with the goal of connecting people back to their Maker and fostering a culture of obedience, hope, and unity among believers.
Who we are:
In 2017, my eight-month missionary stint in Taiwan greatly impacted me, fostering a deep connection to the country, its culture, and its people. This experience invigorated my desire to-do missions, leading me to pursue further education, eventually obtaining my master's in divinity. Over the next five years, I immersed myself in ministry at First Baptist Church Durham, actively participating in college ministry, outreach programs, and discipling students. Despite my initial focus on other endeavors, my conviction for long term missions grew.

Where we are going:
Taiwan is a small Island country of 24.3 million people (about the population of Texas) off the cost of China. This country is full of rich culture, deep historical roots, vibrance, and creativity. But they are without hope. Roughly 6% of the population are Christian, meaning there are 22.5 million people (about the population of New York) that are headed towards destruction. Out of the 22.5, 4.4 million have never even heard the name of Jesus. This cannot remain this way.
